Sumit Kumar is a skilled computer engineer with a passion for programming and problem-solving. He currently works as an SDE-1 at IBO, where he utilizes his expertise in software development to meet the various needs of society. Sumit's journey into programming began during his course studies when he had to use clunky and counter-intuitive software. This sparked his curiosity, and he began researching coding and software development. He quickly discovered his passion for coding and the combination of creative and logical problem-solving it offers. Sumit has a strong interest in problem-solving and enjoys writing his own programs when no programs are available. He aspires to be a valuable resource in an esteemed organization that will allow him to utilize his skills to their fullest potential. Prior to his current role, Sumit worked as an Instructional Associate at Masai School and as a Retail Finance Executive at Eicher Engines, where he supported the sales team and organized loan melas. Sumit holds a Masai School Full Stack Developer (Fellow) degree, where he learned MERN Stack, data structures, and algorithms. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, as well as a Higher Secondary School degree in Mathematics and Science from Holy Mission Senior Secondary Public School and a Secondary School degree in Mathematics and Science from DAV Public School Dhanupra, Ara. Sumit's tech stack includes software engineering, backend development, and research science.
