Sumit Kumar is a FullStack Developer with over 4 years of experience in the field of software engineering. He has expertise in both Frontend and Backend technologies, with a focus on React, React Hooks, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, Next JS, Tailwind CSS, NodeJS, Express, C++, C#, GraphQL, and Go. He is also proficient in working with databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB, and Redis, and has experience working with cloud platforms like Firebase and AWS. Sumit has a strong interest in Machine Learning and has built projects on it, including Amazon Apparel Recommendation System and Classification of Genetic Mutations, using Natural Language Processing techniques such as TF-IDF and Word2Vec. He has also published a CLI (jsnotepad) on NPM, which is a replica of CodeSandBox, built with TypeScript, Redux, and uses ESBUILD for transpiling and bundling on the browser, reducing the cost of extra API. In addition to his technical skills, Sumit is an excellent communicator and is comfortable working on new codebases with minimal KT/supervision. He has previously worked at Pine Labs as a Software Engineer, where he worked on Payment Controller Utility API, designed a frontend of a web app for merchant onboarding, and developed an Android app that integrates with Plutus Smart APIs for transactions, charge slips, and invoices. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from NIT Silchar, where he also gained expertise in Pandas, NumPy, and data analytics.
