Sumit Lahiri is a highly skilled full-stack developer and research scientist with over 1.87 years of relevant experience. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, Sumit's research interests lie in program analysis and verification of system software and smart contracts using machine learning and formal methods. He has a strong technical background in system design, software engineering, logic, and computer science, and is well-versed in delivering full-stack applications from development to deployment. Sumit has a broad range of technical expertise, including experience in blockchain technologies such as Hyperledger Fabric, EVM-Solidity, and Bitcoin, as well as proficiency in Node.js, React, Redux, ExpressJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Web-RTC, GraphQL, and sockets-io. He has also worked with NGINX, Dockers, and Kubernetes and is well-versed in hosting applications or serverless gigs on Digital Ocean, Linode, AWS, and/or GCP. Apart from his research work, Sumit has helped startups build their MVP products from scratch and has worked as a Full Stack Developer & Software Architect for Pluto and as a Campus Tech Advisor & Campus Expert for GitHub. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Fellow (Program Analysis & Verification with ML) at Tata Consultancy Service, Research [Co-Innovation Network], where he has worked on the Golem compilation chain using Web3, Node.js, truffle, and related backend frameworks. Sumit holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Durgapur, and a Startup School certification from Y Combinator.
