Sumit has worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Hitachi, where he was involved in the design and implementation of separating the Terraform configuration/job for deletion of network objects and VM instances. He has also worked on adding support for containerd container runtime in HKS, creating clusters with new Kubernetes versions and operating systems, and adding Red Hat Ceph Storage as a new plugin in HKS as part of Hackathon. Sumit has experience in debugging and fixing production and QA issues and improving the performance of the QA environment by load balancing the requests using headless service. As a Senior Software Engineer at SenecaGlobal, Sumit worked on updating the Terraform configuration for Azure Kubernetes clusters to use NAT Gateway. He has also worked on making the domain name configurable through a single variable throughout the HKS, improving the REST API's response time in HKS by using cache and making parallel calls, and building the Kubernetes Operator for the rehearsal project. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from KIIT University. He has also completed his schooling from Vishwadeep Sr. Sec. School in Durg, Chhattisgarh.
