Sumit Maheshwari is a highly experienced engineer with over 14 years of experience in software design and development. He holds a B.Tech and Masters in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Mining, Web Mining, and Information Extraction. Currently, he is working as a Staff Software Engineer at AppDynamics. Sumit has worked on Informatica's next-gen Data Profiling/Enterprise Data Discovery product suites and Next Gen Business Glossary product as a Senior Software Engineer. He has experience in software development for Windows as well as different flavors of UNIX. He is proficient in Java, SQL, JDBC, GWT, GWT EXT, SMART GWT, Jquery, and JSON. Apart from core product development, he is well-versed in performance tuning the product and finding/correcting memory usage errors using different code profilers viz. YourKit/JVisualVM. Sumit has a good understanding of technical concepts/areas like OOP, multi-threading, synchronization, memory handling, algorithms, and design patterns. He has experience in iteration based agile methodologies of software development.
