Sumit Mulchandani is a seasoned Software Developer with over 8 years of experience in building innovative products from scratch. He has been an early employee in multiple startups, one of which became a unicorn. Currently, Sumit is working as a Software Developer at CureFit, where he is a founding team member of the Carefit Vertical. He has grown the team from 1 engineer to 10+ engineers and built systems from the ground up. Sumit has led projects from multiple fronts, including Backend, DevOps, and Frontend. Sumit has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology. He is passionate about development, programming, best practices, web-assembly, Java, DevOps, and cloud. Sumit is always keen to share his knowledge and insights with others and is happy to chat about startups in general. In his previous roles, Sumit has co-founded a startup called Smarthunch Pte. Ltd. and worked as a Software Development Engineer - II at Codenation. At Codenation, he worked on a Static Code Analyzer for Java, where he conducted a detailed analysis of existing Static Code Analyzer platforms. He researched code smells, anti-patterns, convention violations, and security breaches for Java code. Sumit extended the existing platform to accommodate new violation rules.
