Sumit Prasad is an experienced SRE Tech Lead with over 6.70 years of experience in the field of DevOps, Kubernetes, Cloud, and Automation. Currently working as a Technical Lead SRE at Myntra, he has previously worked with Bounce and Ola Cabs. At Bounce, Sumit was a Senior DevOps Engineer and was responsible for setting up the CICD platform using AWS ECS, ECR, CloudFormation, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. He also dockerized several applications and set up the observability platform for monitoring infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana. Additionally, he set up the Elastic fluentd and Kibana stack for centralized logging. At Ola Cabs, Sumit worked as a Production Engineer II and assisted in building infrastructure for various web applications using AWS and Azure services. He successfully migrated the entire cloud infrastructure from AWS to Azure. Sumit completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology in 2016. He also holds a +2 degree in Science from Sir Tashi Namgyal Sr. Sec School and a Class 10 degree in Science from West Point Sr. Sec School. Sumit's technical expertise includes SRE, Senior Software Engineer, AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Azure, infra, Web, Python, ECS, and Jenkins. He has worked on AWS and Azure services to assist in building infrastructure for various web applications and has migrated entire cloud infrastructure successfully from AWS to Azure.
