With over 11 years of relevant experience, Sumit has played a key role in leading ranking, recommendation, and experimentation platforms at Adobe. Prior to his current role, Sumit worked as a Senior Staff Engineer/Architect at PayPal, where he led several re-architecture efforts, including the PayPal Wallet Platform, PayPal Android Application, and PayPal Consumer Web Application. He also owned the architecture and technology strategy for the Customer Engagement Platform, a distributed multi-channel personalization and segmentation platform used by PayPal product and marketing teams to create personalized and contextual experiences at scale across various PayPal on-site and outbound channels. Sumit started his career as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, where he worked on machine learning projects.
