Sumit Sen is a seasoned Chief Executive Officer with over 12 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently the CEO of Enlightyx, a company that focuses on building products for cities and communities to solve local problems using information and communication technologies. Sumit has a strong product management background, having previously worked as a Product Manager at MyGate, where he built the enterprise product. He also served as a Product Lead at Tekpea, where he built a product development team and supported customers in APAC, especially ASEAN. At Tekpea, he was responsible for laying down a product roadmap that was agile enough to adapt to changing business needs while being progressive enough to ensure that the company kept making a better product and stayed ahead of the competition. Sumit spends most of his time interacting with customers and working with the engineering team. He has experience in sales, which enables him to participate in a lot of pitch meetings to get first-hand experience of customers' problems and expectations. He also owns the deployment phase every time they onboard a new customer to measure the value they deliver and identify areas of improvement. Sumit holds a B.E. (Hons.) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
