Sumit Tiwari is a highly experienced Sr. Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the software industry. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Meta/Facebook - Reality Labs, where he is responsible for building server and on-device infrastructure to support Voice Assistant on various devices. Prior to his current role, Sumit spent 8+ years building multi-tenant scalable web services for two of Amazon's 3P Marketplace businesses. He was a Senior Software Development Engineer at AWS Marketplace, where he owned the core pricing and procurement platform as well as its SaaS product vertical. He also worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Home Services, where he contributed to the seller side systems and built web applications, libraries, web services, and workflows. Sumit has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur, and he also studied Science (with Computer Science) at Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is well-versed in a variety of technologies, including AWS, ML, NLU, infra, AI, Web, Java, Javascript, NoSQL, and Spring. Outside of work, Sumit enjoys traveling, music, and writing. He loves going on road trips to mountains and beaches and enjoys a good cup of coffee.
