Sumit Yadav is a Co-Driving Zoomcar and Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Kaggle Competitions. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering in 2019. Sumit has a total of 3.11 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Science, Research Science, iOS, and AWS. Currently, Sumit is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Zoomcar and is responsible for developing and deploying video analytics solutions on AWS Cloud and Jetson Nano, Tx2, Xavier for detection of various parameters such as red-light violation, vacant parking spaces, vehicle velocity, vehicle count, and FHWA class of vehicle. He has also deployed Yolov3, Yolov3-tiny, Yolov2, and MobileNet on the iOS platform. Additionally, Sumit has developed a CPU-based SOTA object tracker "6thAI" and a smart assistant on Jetson Nano that helps the rider to stay safe, alert, and informed. The smart assistant predicts collision and detects blind-spot, tailgating, red light jumping, and distracted driving. Previously, Sumit has worked as a Principal Engineer and iOS Developer at 6th, where he developed an app for automatic rear light of bike that detects braking, turning, and sends the corresponding signal to the rear light of the bike. He also developed an app for Driver safety rating system using A.I. for detection of hard braking, hard acceleration, typing, calling, and phone in hand using D.L. Sumit's TechStack includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, iOS, and AWS. With his expertise in these areas, Sumit has become an expert in developing and deploying AI-based solutions for various problems.
