Sunand Padmanabhan is a highly skilled software engineer with over 13 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in domain modeling, backend systems, microservices, and frameworks such as Spring, Camel, and Vert.X. Sunand has played key roles in various functions, including building teams, driving requirements, designing and implementing solutions, shipping to production, and monitoring, capacity planning, and interfacing with customers. Currently working as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at RSA Security, Sunand has developed an automation framework that uses an API-based library written in Core Java with Session + Cookie Handler to reduce manual effort and save time and money while testing RSA DLP. He is also working on a tool that helps automate web user action using a creative approach. This tool verifies the functional aspects of the product end-to-end and can handle various actions such as form submit, DWR request/response, and JSON request/response. In the past, Sunand has worked as an Assistant Technical Consultant at Tech Mahindra, where he designed and developed network models using OPNET for clients such as AT&T and BT. He was also a Senior Technical Architect at Gainsight, where he was responsible for designing and implementing two new products and setting up an internal tech meetup group for knowledge sharing. Sunand holds an MS in Telecommunication and Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B-Tech in Information Technology from Amirta Institute of Technology and Science (Anna University). He has expertise in various technologies such as Salesforce, Jenkins, Neo4j, Spark, Docker, NoSQL, SQL, AWS, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Kafka, GCP, and UI/Web development.
