Sundarajan Srinivasan is a highly experienced software engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing MBaaS, PaaS, and Microservices based API platforms for the retail and banking domains. He has extensive knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Aerospike. Currently, he is working as an Associate at JP Morgan, where he is responsible for developing spark connector libraries for building data pipelines that can move millions of data from HDFS data lake to databases like Teradata, Oracle, and MySQL. In his previous role as an Assistant Vice President at DBS Bank, Sundarajan built an API platform from the ground up with reusable libraries, config-driven development, and global domain models that can be deployed across countries. He reduced MIPS cost by a significant amount by moving domain data from legacy to modern distributed cache. He also played a key role in undergoing massive technological changes by helping development teams move from legacy to REST APIs by creating CLI-based bootstraps, recommending top databases and workflow tools which reduced development teams' effort in picking the right tech stack and improved banks shift digital policy. Before joining DBS Bank, Sundarajan worked as a Senior Developer at Cognizant, where he designed NoSQL models and developed data access libraries with Java native drivers for the mobile backend product. He also developed and delivered Open Source Cloud Foundry platform with command centre tools and HA bosh.io releases for MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra, Concourse, and MariaDB. Sundarajan holds a BE degree in Electrical and Electronics from Anna University.
