In her current role as Sr Technical Program Manager at Amazon Search, she is responsible for driving the technical aspects of all the features shipped for Amazon Search, including design, research, data analysis, and general prioritization. Prior to her current role, Sunetra worked as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon Fashion, where she led the Amazon Fashion Product Search and Discovery program. Her role responsibilities included envisioning an optimal search and browse experience for one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses, compiling a unified roadmap to accomplish it along with ensuring timely execution and communication of progress thereof. She drove the technical and product aspects of all the features shipped for Amazon Fashion Search, including design, research, data analysis, and general prioritization. Before joining Amazon Fashion, Sunetra was a Technical Program Manager at Amazon, where she led the Search and Browse experience product roadmap for Amazon's Digital businesses, including Amazon Instant Video, Digital Music, Kindle, and Android Appstore. She drove the discovery portions of several product launches, including Prime Instant Video, Amazon Instant Video in UK/DE/JP, Prime Music, and Kindle Unlimited. This involved market research, competitive analysis, product and technical definition, and execution of features across several partner category teams. Sunetra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Washington. She has a strong tech stack that includes Search, Mobile, Frontend, Research Scientist, and Android.
