Sunil Kumar is a highly experienced software engineer with over 11 years of experience in building and maintaining high-performance software systems. Currently, he works as a Senior Software Engineer at Womply, where he has created a new backend microservice out of the existing Monolith to be used by the CS folks. He has also built a prototype for real-time streaming of Postgresql data via Kafka connect and kSQL. In addition, Sunil has created the new email service which sends out all emails for the company using the sendgrid V3 API and automated most of the data processing works for the PPP project. Sunil's previous experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Bigbinary, where he worked on page speed optimization for Avvo's web service, thereby increasing the Lighthouse page speed scores of the search engine result pages from less than 30 to more than 50. He also improved the website's SEO scores from 60 to 90 and stabilized the microservices architecture and removed redundant and stale codes. Sunil has also worked as a Solutions Architect at Hatio Innovations, where he optimized and continued development on a crypto trading engine and created an engine for processing user fiat currency deposits and withdrawals. Sunil has a B.Tech degree in Computers from Calicut University and has attended Sreepuram EM School.
