Currently serving as the Principal Product Designer at Zalando, Sunil has led design for both local and global organizations, bringing a diverse design experience spanning across business design strategy, product visioning, consumer product design, strategic facilitation, design team management, design research, and interaction design. Throughout his career, Sunil has led design teams, built practices, and mentored designers across various industries, including retail, healthcare, banking, and travel. He has also worked with schools and activists to design for social impact at scale. Sunil is passionate about solving complex design problems and is a big picture thinker obsessed with crafting elegant and audacious experiences. At Grab, Singapore, Sunil served as the Product Design Lead, where he led the design for the future of mobility (B2B & B2C) for millions. Grab is more than just the leading ride-hailing and mobile payments app in Southeast Asia. They use data and technology to improve everything from transportation to payments and logistics across a region of more than 620 million people. Sunil was responsible for pioneering new commuting alternatives for drivers and passengers with an emphasis on speed, safety, and reliability. Sunil is also a Design Mentor at Adplist, where he mentors, grooms, and helps designers to grow. He holds a Certification from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and has a Tech Stack that includes product designer, designer, test, research scientist, and mobile.
