Sunil Singh is a highly motivated and self-driven Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in building scalable and reliable software systems. He has a passion for using technology and science to solve real-life problems and is always eager to learn new things and explore different domains. Currently, Sunil is working as a Software Developer for Drug Design at the supercomputing facility for bioinformatics & computational biology. In this role, he is responsible for detecting the functional group of a molecule and making it compatible for drug designing protocol. He also finds out the charge and valency of a molecule so that it can be used in drug designing. Prior to his current role, Sunil worked as an Associate Software Engineer at SAP, where he developed an app in SAPUI5 for S4/HANA Business Suite. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung, where he was a part of the Bixby Analytics team. In this role, he developed the Utterance Management Tool (UMT) with an administrator portal for managing users and utterances. The UMT helps in creating users with specific restrictions for searching, sharing, and downloading utterances. Sunil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University. He also completed his High School education from Jamuni Lal College and his School education from Silver Point School - India. Sunil has a strong technical background and is proficient in a variety of technologies, including Redis, Javascript, SQL, NodeJS, MySQL, Search, Mobile, Backend, Kafka, Microservices, AWS, Jenkins, UI, Frontend, Web, and C. He is skilled in software engineering and has experience in building systems from scratch that are manageable and amenable to change.
