Sunil Varghese is a social entrepreneur and sustainability advocate with a strong background in innovation management and culture transformation. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Sunil has proven himself to be a research-driven critical thinker and skilled product development strategist. He is adept at design-driven innovations and is a practitioner of design thinking and lean startup methodologies. Currently working as the Sustainability Ventures and Partner Success Manager at Plug and Play Tech Center, Sunil plays a hybrid corporate innovation and VC role, focusing on sustainability solutions. Prior to this, he worked as a Startup Mentor and Venture Lab Fellow at IE Business School, where he mentored and supported early-stage startups. Sunil has a diverse educational background, including a degree in Industrial Design with a focus on Sustainability and Service Design from Istituto Europeo di Design, a B.Arch from the University of Mumbai, and an International MBA in Innovation Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from IE Business School. He is also pursuing an Executive Education program in Strategic Thinking for CXO from the University of Cambridge. Sunil is a fluent English and Spanish speaker, with a C2 level in English and a C1 level in Spanish. He also has a B2 level of proficiency in Italian.
