Sunjay Jeffrish is a highly motivated and result-driven software engineer with over 7 years of experience in both backend, frontend, and dev ops. He is currently working as a Senior Software Development Engineer at ShareChat, where he is responsible for creating pipelines to enhance, compress, and clean user-generated content. Sunjay has developed an image resizer and converter for all ShareChat images and worked on the image processing pipeline for enhancing and compressing UGC images. Prior to ShareChat, Sunjay worked at Freshworks as a Senior Software Engineer, where he built the spam score module for Freshworks signup and enabled signup in all regions across all Freshworks products. He was also pivotal in Freshworks CRM signup and worked on achieving a 99.99 percent successful signup experience in all regions. Sunjay also built the infra provisioning in all regions using Kubernetes, serving a peak performance at 100 CPUs and 100Gi, and implemented a list of open-source systems, including TICK stack for metrics and alerts. Sunjay has also been a CTO of a startup Beecon, where he built a real-time vehicle tracking system on Java using Kinesis and a fluid map framework that can track around 800 vehicles without UI refresh in Chrome. He also built accounting frameworks in Node.js comprising everything from costing to accounting and expenses for an ERP dependent logistics provider and built P/L and profitability reports in the logistics space.
