Sunny Shah is a highly experienced software engineer with a particular focus on programmatic problem solving. Currently, Sunny is the Vice President of Engineering at INDmoney.com, where he heads up the data engineering and data science teams. Prior to this, he worked as an Associate Director of Data Engineering and Data Science at Goibibo, where he led a team to build a near-realtime, reinforcement learning-based dynamic pricing system that optimized discounts to give more business while giving less discounts. He has also built a real-time fraud prevention and detection system, and implemented highly efficient devops for Kafka cluster, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, Athena, Glue, and Yarn. Sunny's skillset includes expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka Streams, Kafka, Redshift, Athena, Dynamodb, Impala, Oozie, Sqoop, HBase, Hive, Scala, Python, SQL, Java, R, MySql, C++, Qt, Javascript, D3.js, Node.js, and Angular.js.
