Sunny Shekhar is a highly skilled Staff Engineer in Product and Platform Engineering at Altimetrik and currently working with Intuit. With over 7 years of experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying Microservices, RESTful Web Services, and other Java-based applications primarily in the FinTech domain, Sunny has an excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with object-oriented design and is well-versed with agile processes. Sunny is a self-motivated technology enthusiast with a passion for writing clean and elegant code. He believes that the true cost of software lies in its maintenance and, therefore, focuses on developing software that is not only effective but also easy to maintain. With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Sunny is a quick learner and adapts to new technologies with ease. Sunny's expertise lies in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot, and he has experience in building Microservices. He is also a budding Full-Stack developer and has a good understanding of Elastic Search, AWS, and MySQL. Before joining Intuit, Sunny worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Altimetrik, where he managed teams for delivering projects for Intuit Account. He also worked as a Software Developer at Reinvent Software Solutions, where he built and developed the backend for FintechAIEngine, a cutting-edge AI-based fintech application. Sunny holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement (GITA).
