Supratim Saha is an accomplished Associate Data Scientist with over 1.86 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at iManage, a leading provider of work product management solutions for legal, accounting, and financial services firms. Supratim's expertise lies in designing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. Supratim's previous experience includes working as a Data Science Intern at iManage, where he designed a command-line tool to automate hyperparameter tuning of a BiLSTM-CRF network into Kubeflow pipelines. He used Bayesian Search as the hyperparameter tuning algorithm, which under the hood uses a Gaussian Process stacked with an Adaboost Regressor as a surrogate. Supratim also used an acquisition function combining three existing AFs - PI, EI, and GP-UCB and showed that combining the three AFs together with a stacked surrogate causes faster convergence to the global optima than using a single AF and Grid and Random Search. Before joining iManage, Supratim worked as a Research Intern at the National Remote Sensing Centre, where he worked on Time Series Analysis: Forecasting Sedimentation level of a wetland ecosystem in India. He used various models such as AR, ARMA, ARIMA, SARIMAX, LSTM RNN, and Facebook Prophet to forecast the sedimentation level. Supratim has a Master of Science degree in 91% from the Indian Statistical Institute (SQC & OR) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 7.86 from Jadavpur University. He also holds a Higher Secondary degree in 86% from Nabadwip Bakultala High School.
