Suprit Acharya is an experienced Engineering Leader at Uber with over 12 years of experience in designing highly distributed systems. He has a passion for building real-time systems and platforms from scratch. Currently, Suprit is serving as an Engineering Manager for the Hive team at Uber, which is core to running Batch ETL workloads and is used by thousands of internal users at petabyte scale. Suprit is also leading the efforts to migrate Hive workloads to SparSQL with a vision to provide customers a unified, best-in-class batch analytics platform.
