Surabhi Washishth is a dynamic and accomplished Founding Partner at Paradigm Shift Capital, where she is focused on backing bold building products for the globe and revamping the perception of HR. She is the youngest woman General Partner in India and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of VC. With a team of operators and entrepreneurs, Surabhi is committed to partnering with founders building from India for the globe, and has already backed several successful startups, including Zeda.io, Praan, Landeed, Arcana, 10XAR, and Samudai. Before joining Paradigm Shift Capital, Surabhi was the HR Director at WeWork India, where she played a pivotal role in setting up the company from launch stage. She headed HR, hired the leadership team and core team, set up a strong company culture, and took the organization to 500+ employees and 35 assets across India. She also worked as the Head of People and Talent Acquisition at Headout, where she joined at launch stage and grew the team to 100+ employees across India, the US, and Europe. Surabhi has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Hons degree from Christ University and has relevant experience of 9.11 years. Her strength lies in disciplining chaos, which keeps her on her toes and serves as a constant source of motivation. She is a petitioner of having women stay and thrive in the workforce and is passionate about supporting female entrepreneurs. When she is not working, Surabhi loves to read, rhyme, swim, and travel.
