Suraj Kumar is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for creating and developing scalable backend systems. With over 2 years of experience in the industry, Suraj has had the pleasure of working on some of the most challenging problems and has successfully solved them using cutting-edge technologies. He is currently working as an SDE 2 at Alteryx, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend systems. Prior to joining Alteryx, Suraj worked as an SDE 2 at Jio, where he was involved in several exciting projects. He worked on end-to-end microservices to enable chat on Jio Health Hub, a project that required him to develop scalable and low-latency systems that were loosely coupled with SAAS offerings from Azure, Google, and other providers. Suraj also worked on a real-time event delivery system using real-time databases, Kafka, and reconciliation, where he was responsible for architecture designing and implementation. He led the project for orchestration engine creation, breaking monolith to serve orchestration solutions, and selecting tech stack and PAAS/I-PAAS for orchestration engines like Conductor, Cadence, and Temporal. Suraj has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also has a High School Diploma from Air Force Bal Bharti School. Suraj has a wide range of technical skills, including Ruby, Python, Java, SQL, Kubernetes, NoSQL, Kafka, and Microservices. He has also displayed excellent team leadership skills and helped his peers in various projects.
