Suraj Nagendra is a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for new technologies. He is a natural leader and public speaker, always ready for new challenges and opportunities to grow. With a curious and open-minded approach, Suraj is constantly on the lookout for new ways to expand his knowledge and skills. Suraj's experience includes working with Big Data, Python, Javascript, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Typescript, and more. He has worked with top companies like Infosys and Impetus, where he has led teams and collaborated with clients to develop and implement innovative solutions. At Infosys, Suraj worked as a Senior Systems Engineer and Research Scientist, where he implemented and developed 16 POCs, architected and programmed software for SAP validations, and designed and developed a Full Stack Web application and 4 NLP modules for an API-based playground featuring NLP functionalities using Python and Django. He also migrated the front-end of a MEANJS project from AngularJS to Angular12 and led a team of 4 members for the same. Currently, Suraj is working as a Senior Software Engineer for Big Data at Impetus, where he is responsible for consulting and handling clients, requirements analysis, packaging, setting up the environment, deploying to the client infrastructure, and solving concerns. He has also engineered and developed a test scripts execution, viewing, and report generation environment with Docker, Kubernetes-k8s, and Python. Suraj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Government Engineering College Palakkad and has completed a Winter Internship in Computer Science and Engineering from National Ilan University. He is also a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society Scholar. Apart from his professional work, Suraj has a wide range of interests, including Quantum Computing, Astronomy, Books, Dance, Philately, Numismatics, Drums, and Ancient Astronaut theories.
