Suraj Prabhakaran is a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in Solution Engineering/Architecture, building Software Development teams, spearheading partnerships and projects, and technology marketing. He is currently driving technology strategy, growth roadmap, and innovation for PictoryTale. Suraj is an expert in Edge Computing, 5G use-cases, and Augmented Reality solutions. He has filed over 40 patents on Data Center Architectures, Scale-out systems, Quality of Service, Artificial Intelligence, CPU, Telemetry, and Acceleration. He holds a PhD in Computer Science specializing in High Performance Computing. Prior to his current role, Suraj worked at Intel as a Platform Solutions Engineer and Software Engineer (HPC and Data Analytics). In his role as a Platform Solutions Engineer, he was responsible for driving the workload analysis for Edge Cloud pathfinding activities, serving as a technology specialist for 5G/edge use-cases and platform mapping with customers, executing 5G/edge end-2-end pilots, and evaluating Serverless/Function-as-a-Service concepts for Edge Computing. As a Software Engineer, he led the work package on application enabling, testing, and evaluation and contributed to middleware development for HPC architectures with Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory. Suraj holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt, a Master of Science in Software Systems Engineering from rwth aachen university, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) from anna university. He also holds an Enterprise Application Developer certification from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT). With over 11 years of relevant experience, Suraj is a highly skilled Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Research Scientist, and technology expert.
