Suraj Singh is a highly experienced Technical Specialist with a strong background in C++/Unix programming, open source VOIP, and ASR. With over 13 years of experience in engineering management, he has a proven track record of success in product development, platform development, and new contact center technology development. Currently, Suraj works at Reliance Jio as a Technical Specialist. He possesses extensive knowledge of SIP/RTP, SMPP, and SRE, and has a deep understanding of protocol domains such as SIP/BICC/SS7/ISDN, ITUT-Specs, and IETF RFCs. He is excited about the roll-out of a real 5G network based on open source from radio to core. Suraj has previously worked at Paytm as an AGM, where he was responsible for new platform development, existing platform cost optimization, product benchmarking, designing call flow, and preparing tech-biz presentations. He has extensive experience in using open source, especially on the VOIP side, and has developed products such as ASR, Voice Modulation, SIMPLE, SIP/BICC/TDM based IBD/OBD Dialer, VXI, CXI, and MRF, GSM gateway, and contact center technology. He has also worked on signaling products in SDLC, such as messaging (SMS, USSD), INAP (SRF/SCF), call completion, and probing. Suraj has successfully managed a team of 8 developers to build and maintain an in-house platform for signaling and media resources, which has the capability to do TDM/VOIP signaling and media, as well as messaging suite. Prior to Paytm, Suraj worked at Comviva as a Technical Lead. He conceptualized and developed the state-of-the-art library for in-memory DB profiling and achieved 15K TPS. He also developed a generic CCXML script, which was used and referenced as a base library for all CCXML-based development on the HPOMCP platform. He has experience in enhancing products such as ISUP Tapping server, MCA, EIR, and VSIM.
