Suraj Sipani is an accomplished professional with a passion for building and growing businesses. With almost 4 years of experience in the Indian start-up ecosystem, Suraj has developed a keen understanding of Q-commerce and E-commerce. He is currently working as an Associate Director in the Category and Growth team at Zepto, where he heads the Processed Foods Category. In this role, Suraj has been instrumental in setting up strategic partnerships in both Food and Non-Food categories from scratch. He has also been responsible for driving growth strategy, customer acquisition, and sustainable growth for the company. Before joining Zepto, Suraj worked at OfBusiness, a high-growth start-up, where he built and led cross-functional teams. He was responsible for profitability at scale across Business Development and Supply Chain functions. Suraj's experience at OfBusiness taught him the importance of taking an entrepreneurial approach and always striving for success. He believes in challenging the status quo and going the extra mile to achieve his goals. Suraj is a highly motivated individual who thrives in setups that allow him to take ownership and contribute. He has effectively led teams in multiple capacities before, and he never delegates his learnings. Suraj is a graduate of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Operations Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management. Suraj's education and work experience have given him a strong foundation in business strategy, operations, growth strategy, and customer acquisition.
