Suraj Suhas is a graduate student and teaching assistant at Northeastern University, with a focus on computer systems networking and telecommunications. He has a strong background in software development, computer networks, and IoT, and has worked in both industry and academia. Suraj has experience as a software developer at Publicis Sapient, where he worked primarily on mobile application development, UI/UX, DevOps, and cloud computing. He is proficient in a range of programming languages and technologies, including C/C++, Python, SQL, Javascript, AWS, React, Git, Flutter, and Docker. In the summer of 2022, Suraj interned at Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook) as a network engineer intern, where he worked on building multiple CLIs and an end-to-end automated dataswarm pipeline for ASN forecasting. He has also worked as a research collaborator at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences, CyberSecurity and Privacy Institute in the Mon(IoT)r Internet of Things lab. Suraj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and a specialization in Signal Processing from PES University in Bengaluru. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at Northeastern University. As a teaching assistant for the course ENCP6000: Career Management for Engineers, Suraj provides individualized coaching and mentoring to students to assist in the achievement of their cooperative education experience and professional goals. He is also responsible for grading assignments, quizzes, and presentations, conducting office hours to help students with coursework, and responding to students' emails, queries, and concerns. Suraj is a technology enthusiast and design thinking promoter who is always eager to learn something new. He is interested in software development, computer networks and telecommunications, IoT, network and cyber security, and cloud computing. He is also proficient in a range of tech stacks and has relevant experience of 0.44 years.
