Suraj Tripathi is a skilled machine learning and natural language processing expert with experience in vision and deep learning. He is proficient in PyTorch, Python, Tensorflow, MATLAB, Java, and C/C++. Suraj has published and accepted research papers in several prestigious conferences including Interspeech, AVSS, IJCAI AffComp, CICLing, NLDB, IEEE Indicon, and ASRU. Currently, Suraj is working as a Graduate Research Assistant with Professor Teruko Mitamura at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University. He is pursuing a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Language Technologies, which he is expected to complete in December 2023. Suraj has over three years of relevant experience in the industry. He has previously worked with Samsung as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in the Bixby Intelligence Deep NLU team. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in mobile, NLU, deep learning, and NLP. Suraj holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia.
