Suraj Verma is an accomplished IPS officer currently serving with the Government of India. With a career spanning almost two decades, he has gained extensive experience in the field of law enforcement and public administration. Prior to his current role, Suraj worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Arista and as a Software Engineer at AT&T Labs, Florham Park, New Jersey. He has a strong background in systems engineering and development, having worked on a variety of software projects throughout his career. Suraj's educational background includes a BTech MTech in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also completed his 12th grade education in Science and Maths at St. Michael's School and his primary education at St. Karen's School. With a relevant experience of almost 19 years, Suraj is a highly skilled professional with expertise in software engineering. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies and has a strong understanding of software development processes. In his current role with the Government of India, Suraj is responsible for overseeing law enforcement and public safety initiatives. He is a dedicated and passionate public servant who is committed to making a positive impact on society.
