Suramya Gupta is an experienced Software and Applications Engineer currently working at Texas Instruments in the 3D Time of Flight team. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Suramya is responsible for managing and supporting the software development kit (SDK) for 3D ToF cameras, creating a calibration workflow for the cameras, understanding the optics of the camera modules, and supporting customers with queries related to the complete 3D ToF systems. Additionally, Suramya manages and supports an in-house, python and Qt-based architecture for lab-automation and is involved in the development of a system simulator for electrical and optical outputs. Suramya's past experience includes working as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems India, where they worked on a power-plant EPC project. Their tasks included simulation of power plant load flow using ETAP Load Flow and reviewing engineering drawings for switchgear, chargers, and generators. Suramya also worked as an Intern at Automation Engineers, where they learned the basic principles of automation and did PLC programming for the automation of a rolling mill producing TMT bars. They also created a Human Machine Interface (SCADA) page for control using ABB CodeSys and Wonderware Intouch. Suramya holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Mandi, where they graduated in 2015. They also attended Shri Shankaracharya Vidyalaya, Bhilai, from 2009 to 2011.
