Suren Nanayakkara is a seasoned technology professional with almost two decades of experience in the industry. He is currently serving as the CTO at Pyxle, a global digital consulting company that helps large and mid-sized enterprises enhance their digital performance on a continuous and sustained basis. Suren's expertise lies in software engineering, application maintenance, DevOps/TechOps, product development, application and infrastructure automation and support, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Consulting, and System Integrations. He is a transformational leader who has led several teams and helped them achieve their goals. Before joining Pyxle, Suren served as the General Manager/Head of Group Delivery at Brandix Apparel Lanka, the largest apparel manufacturer in Sri Lanka. He managed the Group Delivery department, which is the managed services, software development, and implementation arm of all ICT engagements across the Brandix group. In addition to managing an in-house development team, the Group Delivery department was responsible for overlooking and governing software projects outsourced to vendors as well. He also worked as an Engineering Manager at Zone24X7, where he managed the development teams of field test and POC projects involving software applications, robotics, and machine learning for the retail sector. Suren holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Information Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Mathematics degree from Royal College, Colombo. He is proficient in several technologies, including Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, infra, Software Engineer, test, and ML. Suren has a proven track record of success in the industry and is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
