Prior to his current role, Surender worked at And Technology Research Ltd. as a Software Engineer, where he had driven software development and iterations to existing embedded systems (Energy & Medical) using C/C++ and scripting languages. He has also worked with embedded and backend systems with network protocols including UDP/TCP, CoAP, MQTT, WiFI, BLE & Lora, and communication protocols using SPI, I2C & UART. He has architected and developed APIs and integrated strategy for testing IoT Platforms and collaborated closely with Hardware and Marketing teams from design to release phase. He has designed and developed devices, sensors, and software for end-to-end IoT Use cases using cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. He has experience of working with Agile delivery methodologies, waterfall, and carried out task scoping and effort estimation. He has provided support to documentation, technology evaluation, and task scoping. He has also delivered product demos and talks in exhibitions and meetups.
