Surendranath Mohanty is an engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in leading and building enterprise products with end-to-end software development and delivery. He is currently the Co-Founder of iRely.in. Throughout his career, Surendranath has managed multiple products and platforms in file services, storage, print, networking, virtualization, cloud, data analytics, identity federation, system, and resource management domains. He has proven leadership skills in defining product and portfolio strategy, product road maps, and driving the engineering team to deliver high-quality products. He has also been instrumental in building a culture of innovation and embracing new technologies. As a strategist, Surendranath has headed the innovation committee with over 100 US patents from IDC. He has worked with cross-functional teams to define product portfolio strategy, brought new products to market, and led products transition. He has also successfully built high-performing product engineering teams to deliver products from India Development Center. As a technocrat, Surendranath has managed and delivered complex products following the full product life cycle starting from architecture, design, development, and releasing to the global marketplace. He is a strong advocate of Agile methodologies and fundamentals to drive high-quality products efficiently. He has extensively worked on multiple technology stacks, including Java, Elastic Search, Kafka, Microservices, OpenFaaS, and K8S. As a leader, Surendranath's strengths include strong decision making, innovation, skill building, product strategy and execution, change management, and risk-taking. He is a passionate people leader and site leader who has led large groups of 180+ engineers across geographies with a clear vision, focus on strategic goals and objectives, and inspiring communication with delegation and empowerment. Surendranath Mohanty holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Rourkela. His relevant experience is 27.03 years. He has worked for companies such as Western Digital, where he was the Director of Software Engineering, and Upfinit, where he was a Co-Founder of a serverless machine learning platform.
