Suriyakumar Jayavel is a highly motivated and skilled software developer with almost 4 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Razorpay, Suriyakumar worked as a Production Engineer I and Associate Production Engineer at Yahoo. In these roles, he was responsible for developing DNS management tools, GSLB management tools, data visualizations, and CLI tools. He also carried out deployment via CI/CD and provided L2 support to ensure smooth working in production. Suriyakumar has demonstrated knowledge of scalable distributed systems and has added many monitoring and alerting processes to ensure smooth operations. Suriyakumar is a Bachelor of Engineering graduate from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, where he majored in Computer Science and Engineering. He has a diverse tech stack, including AWS, Backend, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, Python, SQL, Golang, Django, Ansible, CI/CD, Redis, Data Science, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, and DevOps. Suriyakumar is a dedicated team player who takes part in design and code reviews and is a full-time mentor for new team members.
