Surya Das is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing across diverse domains. With a proven track record of success in Project Management activities, Surya has demonstrated abilities in Software Testing and expertise in Functional and Non-Functional Testing. Currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager at Fractal, Surya is responsible for strategically positioning QA as a service across engagements, thereby helping delivery teams improve their products. He has exceptional communication, collaboration, and team-building skills with proficiency in grasping new and upcoming technical concepts quickly and utilizing them in a productive manner. In his previous role as QA Technical Lead at CitiusTech, Surya provided hands-on experience in solutioning, implementing, and delivering automation solutions across multiple work streams. He reported to Client/Stakeholder management on QA progress and participated in providing guidance on agile QA practices/adoption to the wider team. Surya also guided and mentored junior folks in teams on technical roadblocks as well as QA practices such as test strategy, test plan, metrics, and reporting. Prior to CitiusTech, Surya worked as a Senior QA Engineer at JDA Software. He has also completed his Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and is currently pursuing SMP - Senior Management Program from IIM, with a focus on Strategy Implementation & Organizational Transformation, Enterprise Risk Management, Leadership, and HRM. With a strong tech stack that includes QA, Senior Software Engineer, and Test, Surya has relevant experience of 13.87 years.
