Surya Pandey is a Guidewire Developer with over 3.5 years of experience in Guidewire Claim Center v9 and experience with all xCenters's V10(BC, CC, PC, CM). He has a strong knowledge of the insurance domain with a Property & Casualty background. Surya is certified in Safe for Team (Agile Approach) and has experience in SCRUM Agile. He has implemented and delivered software through the Full SDLC and has experience in both integration and configuration development. Surya has experience with databases such as Oracle/SQL Server and has good knowledge in web services, XML, and the Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting/UI/Data Model). Currently, Surya is working as a Consultant at CastleBayInfoTech. Previously, he worked as a Consultant at Capgemini where he was responsible for Guidewire Integration development, implementation of story cards, unit testing, and their successful delivery. He resolved defects and delivered those defects using HP ALM and Rally. Surya also wrote unit test cases and executed those UTs in JUT as well as Local for Integration SCs to ensure successful delivery. He analyzed smoke test results after each build and notified other teams for quick resolution. Surya handled production defects and their quick resolution while maintaining compliance with guidelines for production environments. He joined the war room with Middleware, Mainframe team, QA Team, and other concerned teams for quick resolution of showstopper and critical issues, admin issues, and other issues that require coordination from multiple teams. He also implemented POCs and demoed those to business for approval. Surya has experience working in Scaled Agile Methodology using Rally, testing, and implementing webservices using SoapUI. He fulfilled the role of lead in his absence by managing the team, coordinating with other vendors, and helping the team to ensure smooth delivery. He wrote the Gunit Test cases for various integration to ensure fewer defects. Surya worked in all phases of SDLC like JUT, SIT, CDS, UAT, PERF, PET, Production, etc. Surya holds a Master of Technology - MTech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from IET DAVV. He also completed +2 from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Churhat, and HSC and XII from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Churhat.
