Suryakant Gokhale is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, currently leading the Azure Core Compute team. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high-quality solutions. In his current role, Suryakant is responsible for the cross-region/zone migration of Azure compute resources, ensuring seamless and efficient operations for Microsoft's cloud platform. He is also actively hiring experienced UX engineers for Microsoft Teams Search Team, with a preference for those skilled in React. Prior to his current role, Suryakant held senior software engineering manager positions at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the cross-region move of Azure resources such as VMs and networking stack, as well as helping modernize customers' stack from IAAS to PAAS. He also led the Microsoft Teams Search UX team, delivering the V1 of Search UX based on React. Suryakant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), where he completed his studies in 2010.
