SuryaNarayanan PaneerSelvam is a co-founder of Skill-Lync, an online platform that delivers quality educational content created by industry experts to equip students with the technical skill set they require to start and succeed in their respective career paths. He is passionate about providing quality education to everyone, especially in a country like India where education is a fundamental right. SuryaNarayanan strongly believes that a world with equal access to quality education is a place where equal opportunity means something, and he is committed to bringing in a level playing field through Skill-Lync. With 5.43 years of relevant experience, SuryaNarayanan has a strong background in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career as a Product Engineer at Cummins, where he developed crankcase ventilation for medium/heavy-duty engines. He then joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant, where he developed a hybrid full-field stress analysis technique to determine the mechanical integrity of finite structures with discontinuity by hybridizing measured Thermoelastic Stress Analysis and Digital Image Correlation information with analytical and numerical tools. SuryaNarayanan is a product manager and software engineer with expertise in delivering quality educational content online. He is a co-founder of Skill-Lync, which officially kicked off its journey in 2016, providing affordable and accessible quality education to students across the globe. He is excited about the future of Skill-Lync and is committed to providing equal opportunities to everyone through quality education. SuryaNarayanan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from St. Joseph's College of Engineering. He is currently pursuing a program at Y Combinator, which he is expected to complete by December 2019.
