Suryansh Sharma is a highly motivated and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Cohesity with a rich experience in software development. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2021. Suryansh has a strong understanding of Linux and administration experience across all working components and has solid understanding of Linux debugging utilities and storage-related concepts, including virtualization and data protection. As an SRE at Cohesity, Suryansh is responsible for deployment, maintenance, and operations on Cohesity clusters deployed worldwide. He develops scripts and frameworks for automating repetitive tasks and troubleshoots issues on prod clusters deployed on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. He also writes scripts using bash and python for logs capture and analysis on large clusters. Suryansh proactively monitors and manages the availability of clusters and deployed applications. Prior to his current role, Suryansh worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore. He was responsible for developing a Spring Boot Application that automates all kinds of operations and scans provided by an open-source web security testing tool called OWASP ZAP. The spring boot application developed was deployed as a pipeline on Jenkins and was responsible for performing a Spider scan, followed by AJAX Spider, and finally Passive scan and Active scan on the web application which exposes security vulnerabilities. Suryansh has also worked as an Internship Trainee at BHEL, where he gathered experience on VOIP (Voice over internet protocol) and worked on a project to develop a softphone using SIP stack and Java-11. Suryansh is a machine learning enthusiast and has tried his hands on various projects with different machine learning algorithms to solve problems using a given dataset. He has a sound knowledge of technologies like AWS, Jenkins, Python, Spring Boot, Spring, Java, SQL, DevOps, Azure, test, Terraform, Jupyter, Scikit, Frontend, Big Data, Kubernetes, Docker, SVM, Seaborn, Ansible, Pandas, Mobile, and Backend. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Suryansh is a highly motivated individual who loves coding and is always eager to learn new technologies.
