Susan Pierce is an experienced Outbound Product Manager with a specialization in Data Analytics. With over 15 years of experience in ad tech, Susan has gained expertise in generating massive amounts of data and helping companies make it generate useful insights. Currently, she is working at Google, where she is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution across the portfolio of Data Analytics products, centered on BigQuery. Her role involves product positioning, competitive messaging, thought leadership, and product strategy. Susan has previously worked at Google in various roles, including Solutions Manager for Smart Analytics and AI and Cloud Customer Engineering Manager for Data Analytics. In her Solutions Manager role, she was the owner of all Analytics Platform solutions, solving business challenges for customers through sets of products, services, technical assets, go-to-market strategy, and target account activation across the Google Data Analytics suite of products. She created and ran programs that resulted in 350% of target pipeline generation and over $1B in ARR. Additionally, Susan is the author and reviewer of multiple white papers and blogs on data strategy and implementations of modern data architectures using Google Cloud. In her Cloud Customer Engineering Manager role, Susan led a team of specialized sales engineers to develop new and innovative marketing analytics and customer intelligence solutions for brands. From initial pitch through proof of concept and solution architecture, she worked across executive stakeholders, engineering & product, and partner teams to enable companies to do Really Cool Things with their data. Susan holds a Masters in Information Systems Management and a B.S. in Anthropology and Math from Carnegie Mellon University. Her tech stack includes product management, AI, and senior software engineering. With over 21 years of relevant experience, Susan is a seasoned professional who has a proven track record of driving business growth through innovative data analytics solutions.
