Sushant Chavan is an engineer at Eaton with a passion for machine design, finite element methods, and vibrations. He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 from WCE, Sangli, and is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Design Engineering at IIT Bombay. Sushant has a keen interest in data science and has completed courses in the subject along with design and control systems. Sushant has worked as a TATA Fellow at the Tata Centre for Technology and Design, IIT Bombay, where he worked on his project and received a stipend for the same. The fellowship helped him develop his skills in social entrepreneurship and overall development in the institute. Prior to this, Sushant was a student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Sushant's education history includes an M.Tech in Design Engineering from IIT Bombay and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli-M.S. He has three years and two months of relevant experience and is skilled in data science. Currently, Sushant is working on modeling and manufacturing of manually operated irrigation pump useful for small farmers in tribal regions. With his expertise in machine design and finite element methods, he is well-equipped to handle this project and make a significant impact on the lives of small farmers in the region. Sushant is a dedicated engineer with a drive to make a positive impact in society. His expertise in machine design, finite element methods, and data science makes him a valuable asset to any team.
