Sushant Moon is a highly motivated Data Scientist with 4.45 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working at Amazon Internet Services (PL), (AWS) where he leverages AWS to build AI/ML solutions that help customers grow. Sushant is a Machine Learning fanboy and coding enthusiast who is obsessed with exploring Computer Vision with Deep Learning and excited about its application in Natural Language Processing. He has been exploring various topics in machine learning and software development using Python, C, C++ via personal and professional projects since his bachelor days in 2011. He completed his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2015 and then joined Everlytics where he worked with many clients across the globe to build Big Data and Machine Learning Solutions. Before joining Amazon, Sushant worked with PrivateCircle, where he helped improve their search back-end and designed the data pipeline for ingesting data, processing, and making it available for end-user consumption. He also worked as an Intern Machine Learning Engineer at Autodesk, where he researched and developed Object Detection Deep Learning Algorithms along with Reinforcement Learning for object detection and localization. Sushant has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, which he completed in 2020. He has experience working with various tech stacks, including Python, C, C++, R, Scala, Lua, JavaScript, SQL, Ansible, Amazon Web Services, Google Compute Engine, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Scikit-Learn, SparkML, NLTK, OpenCV, Tensorflow, Caffe, MySQL, Postgres, PostgresXL, Redshift, HBase, Cassandra, and GreenPlum.
