Sushant Somkuwar is a versatile business professional with extensive experience in product management, sales, and commissioning. He is an MBA graduate from IIM Ahmedabad and has worked with various companies in different streams of business. Sushant has consulted for 'Field Assist', a sales force automation software, and UP govt. for its SVEP program during his MBA. He was awarded a pre-placement offer from Lenskart for his work in the retail segment of John Jacobs. He has a year of commissioning experience at Thermax where he commissioned 500 TPH boilers of Reliance at Hazira. He has also honed his engineering skills as an intern at Vizag Steel Plant & NTPC, Badarpur. Sushant has worked for two years on the online website and Android & iOS app of John Jacobs and is currently working on the Nykaa Man product as a Product Manager II. He has also been an integral part of the sponsorship and publicity team of the cultural festival of VNIT and the digital marketing team of Chaos, IIM Ahmedabad. Sushant is passionate about discussing all things Product and Marketing and is always keen to connect with like-minded professionals. Sushant's previous work experience includes working as a Product Manager at Lenskart and as a Summer MBA Intern - Offline Business at John Jacobs. During his tenure at Lenskart, he was awarded the "Execution Hero" for implementing Express delivery, reducing the turnaround time from 7 days to 1 day for Delhi stores. He also delivered a proof concept for Express Delivery for 7 days, reduced delivery time from 7 days to 1 day, and doubled the conversion rate for one store for a period of 7 days. Sushant conducted market research with over 500+ customer responses to define the target group of John Jacobs and identified issues in the Customer Journey. He also initiated and recommended steps for footfall enhancement through cross-promotion and advertising. Sushant's education includes a Masters in Business Administration from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. He also holds a School degree from New Apostolic English High School and has completed his education from Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur.
