Sushanth Reddy is a highly experienced banking professional with expertise in corporate banking, credit portfolio management, and cross-border deals. Currently serving as the Group Executive Vice President of Large Corporates at YES Bank, he has successfully managed a credit portfolio of INR 60.00 billion for large corporates, including term loans and working capital. Sushanth is responsible for all stages of the deal, starting from origination, evaluation, execution, documentation, and monitoring. He maintains relationships with CFOs, CEOs, and Promoters of companies and has worked extensively in sectors like Infrastructure, EPC, Mining, and Real Estate. Sushanth has also worked at ICICI Bank, where he served as the Chief Manager of the Corporate Banking Group. During his tenure, he successfully underwrote USD 1.25 billion for the acquisition of mines in Australia and prepared the Information Memorandum, which helped sell down USD 680.0 million. He engaged extensively with legal counsels of English, Singapore, Australian, and Indian Law and coordinated with other lenders across London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Bahrain, and Singapore. The deal was awarded ‘Asia Deal of the Year’ by the Asian mining congress in the financial year 2012. He has also provided project-specific working capital funding to the tune of USD 60.0 million for a construction company in the Middle East. Before joining the banking sector, Sushanth worked as a Software Engineer at HCL. He holds a PGDCM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Machinery Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. With nearly 14 years of relevant experience, Sushanth is a highly skilled banking professional with a proven track record of delivering results.
