Sushil Kumar is a Senior Engineering Manager at Cisco with over 20 years of experience in Access Routing/Embedded Systems, Network Management, and Network Security Products testing. He is a results-oriented and customer-focused leader who is known for his hands-on approach to software test engineering. Currently, he is responsible for Service Provider Routing Products Quality and Customer experience. Sushil has a proven track record of nurturing talent, building high-performing teams, and setting them up for success. He has served as an Engineering POC for various tier-1 service providers and worked with the account team on CPOCs and rapid deployment, which has helped in winning several deals for SPAG products. He is responsible for budgeting, vendor management, cost negotiations, lab inventory optimizations, and optimizing the OpEX for product testing. Sushil is driving tools innovation in the testing group to improve product quality and team productivity. He has managed overall access network deployment's software quality in the world's largest 4G LTE Greenfield deployment (Reliance JIO) and is currently leading the testing efforts for Cisco's 5G converged transport Router. In his previous roles at Cisco, Sushil served as a Software Quality Assurance Manager and a Software/QA Engineer. He hired and built a world-class team from scratch for Cisco's Cell Site Router ASR901 product testing. ASR901 has the distinction of being the first product completely developed and delivered from Cisco, India. He has expertise in test strategizing, planning & execution methodologies, and complex technologies & industry-leading practices in Software Testing & Quality management as well as planning/execution.
