Sushil Menon is a seasoned management professional with over 14 years of experience leading technology and business initiatives in product development, trust and safety, commercial excellence, business analytics, marketing, and vendor management. He is currently a Senior Program Manager for Android at Google, where he leads efforts to scale access to technology and build bespoke experiences for hundreds of millions in India and similar markets across the Android platform, Camera from Google, Gallery Go, and Files by Google. Sushil is passionate about solving hard problems around online safety, fraud prevention, and user trust. He is a graduate of GE's reputed Information Management Leadership Program and holds an MBA from NITIE, Mumbai, and a B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. Apart from his professional interests in product management, internet and online safety, machine learning, fraud analytics, technology evangelism, CRM, social media, and computer science, Sushil also has non-professional interests in photography, history, culture, travel, and football. Sushil has a proven track record of success in his past roles at Google, where he served as a Senior Program Manager for Google Maps, building the abuse protection platform for user-generated content (UGC) and partnering with multiple Google Maps product teams to help scale UGC contributions from Maps users while ensuring high-quality contributions and protecting users against abuse. He also served as an Engineering Program Manager for Google Maps, where he built the auto-moderation platform for all UGC on Google Maps and made key contributions in scaling the organization from 25 to over 100 engineers. With his expertise in Android, product management, and machine learning, Sushil is a valuable asset to Google and the technology industry at large.
