Sushmethaa Muhundan is a highly skilled Full-stack developer with a passion for exploring and learning new things. She also worked as a Developer at ThoughtWorks, where she was responsible for managing the planning process and release management of the iOS mobile application for the retail giant Kroger. She led the development team to expand the test pyramid of the codebase by introducing a UI level testing framework, EarlGrey, thereby optimizing the release cycle. She initiated the migration of code from Obj-C to Swift in the legacy system, which led to a more maintainable codebase. She also headed technical analysis and feasibility study of upcoming business features, proactively called out risks, and came up with mitigation plans for the same. Sushmethaa's experience in Data Engineering includes the development of a price prediction system for a retail store based on various factors, including competitors' pricing. She used Sqoop for data ingestion, Kafka for real-time data transfer, HDFS, Spark for data processing, and Kibana for data visualization. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an Engineer’s Degree in Information Technology from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering.
